The exhibition came to a close today. We packed up the sold pieces for collectors to take home and enjoy. Those pieces that were admired but not chosen will rest a while awaiting another opportunity to shine incandescently on those who take the time to visit and receive their gifts. So many old and new friends took the time to share their reactions to the show with me. One of my favorite comments was this:
Donna Oglesby says “A garden is an emotional blessing.’ I second the statement…or should I say ‘Amen’? Today I visited her beautiful show at Mirella’s Gallery and I was transported. The show is so accurately named “Breath Taking.” I am not familiar with the photographic techniques Donna has mastered but they give a spiritual aura to each work.
To all who came, my sincere thanks for taking the journey with me.
