Two of my images from Lo Sagrado Feminine are traveling Florida this year along with the work by my friends in the Women’s Art Caucus Florida Chapter group show, Mother.
WCA artists envision new metaphors for the role of motherhood, nature, and the environment. In so doing, we explore concepts of Mother, Mother Nature, and Mother Earth, and demonstrate a commitment to nurturing and caretaking. Inspired by environmental activism we utilize our artistic talents to promote wholeness and unity with nature. Our wish is to spark new conversations beyond politics.
Currently, the exhibition is in Oldsmar City Hall until September 24, 2025
Blending AI, photographs, imagination and political commentary, MAGA Girls Have Utah Curls focuses our attention on the hyperfeminine and overtly Christian look sported by the Trump Administration female influencers. Although prominent female politicians in the MAGA universe are ultimately subordinate and ornamental, their bulked-up red lips spew combative and even brutal language in pursuit of team objectives from positions of power.
Five of these images are included in the Brutal Beauty virtual exhibition organized by a community of expressionist photographers of which I am a member. The members of Abstract Rhythm & Blue Notes have been working on a project called Brutal Beauty all summer. Please enter and enjoy our work virtually from September - December 2025.
